Abstract:
On January 26, 1989 the Federal Department of Police in Genf blocked, pursuant to the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty with the United States, the acounts of Prisoner of War (POW) General Noriega at two Swiss banking institutes (Schweizerischer Bankverein, Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft) and prohibited all activities of the banks relative to these accounts.
