Abstract:
On August 12, 1987, the Government of Nicaragua informed the World Court that it was withdrawing its case against Costa Rica, which it had alleged had tolerated Nicaraguan rebel operations based on its territory. However, no similar announcement was made concerning a similar lawsuit pending against Honduras.
