The Agreement, entitled “Procedure for the Establishment of a Strong and Lasting Peace in Central America,” which was signed on August 7, 1987, by the leaders of the Governments of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua will be important to watch for an international criminal law and enforcement perspective.
