Abstract:
On May 24, 2013, Guatemala took its former President Alfonso Portillo from a military hospital where he was receiving treatment for liver and heart problems and put him an air ambulance, where he was taken to New York to respond to an indictment for conspiring to launder money derived from corrupt payments.[1]
