Abstract:
On May 3, 2013, the Sengalese and Chadian ministers of justice signed an agreement in Dakar to cooperate on the trial of former Chadian dictator Hissène Habré in Senegal for charges of being responsible for more than 40,000 political killings, systematic torture, and human violations during his rule from 1982 until 1990.[1]
