"A criminal case against three Kenyans, the role of the U.S. and a proposed counter-terrorism bill have focused attention on Kenya’s counter-terrorism efforts. In the criminal case on August 11, 2008, three Kenyans were released on bail after they were charged with harboring a man accused of masterminding the bombings of two U.S. embassies in East Africa ten years ago.
