UK Will Extradite Alleged Islamic Militant Wanted for 1995 French Bomb Attacks

According to French Justice Minister Maylise Lebranchu, the decision to extradite Mr. Ramda is the first example of improved cooperation between European Union countries since they agreed on a joint police after the September 11 bombing attacks in the U.S. The radical Armed Islamic Group (GIA) claimed responsibility for the attacks in the French cities of Paris, Lyon and Lille between July and October 1995.
