Abstract:
On January 31, 2007, Panamanian authorities designated one prosecutor to respond to a Guatemalan request for assistance in the investigation of alleged financial crimes connected to a major Panamanian bank. Greta Marchosky, head of the Office of International Affairs in the Attorney’s General’s Ministry, announced the appointment of Lourdes Herrera, a prosecutor in the third circuit of Panama, to handle Guatemala’s request for assistance investigating fraud at the Bank of Commerce in Guatemala.
