U.S. Issues International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (IIA)

On March 1, 2000, the Clinton Administration issued its International Narcotics Control Strategy Report. The Clinton Administration also announced that it found that 20 of 26 problem countries were either cooperating fully with the U.S. or taking adequate steps themselves to combat the illegal drug trade. The only two countries not certified were Afghanistan and Burma.
