On December 20 and 23, 1999, NATO peacekeepers in Bosnia arrested Maj. Gen. Stanislav Galic, commander of the Bosnian Serb forces that besieged Sarajevo from 1992 to 1994, under a sealed indictment and Zoran Vukovic in Southern bosnia, who was charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity in 1992.
