Abstract: 
Following the adoption of Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which went into effect on 15 February 1999, some 60 countries will criminalize corrupt acts involving government officials and related persons in international transactions.
