Abstract:
On November 26 a court in West-Berlin sentenced Ahmed Nawaf Mansur Hasi and Farouk Salameh to 14 and 13 years in prison, respectively, for plantina a bomb at the German-Arab Friendship Society in West Berlin on March 29, 1986 in which 9 persons were wounded. The day before police arrested Haithem Saeed, a senior officer in Syria's Air Force intelligence service, who allegedly played a central role in assisting the convicted terrorists.
