On July 15, 2015, U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), chairman of the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance, and Data Security, convened a hearing entitled "Examining the Governance and Integrity of International Soccer.” It focused on the integrity problems of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
