Abstract: 

On December 1, 1999, U.S. law enforcement authorities reported good cooperation with counterpart Russian officials on investigations into financial irregularities and arrested Svetlana Kudryavtsev of Brooklyn, a former Bank of New York employee, for making false statements in connection with the investigation.
