Abstract:

In the aftermath of the September 11 terrorism incidents in the U.S., many countries, especially in Europe, started joint investigations with U.S. law enforcement and made arrests, many of which have resulted in extraditions to the U.S. and other countries, and extradition requests. The article summarizes some of the responses from various governments, such as Germany, England, France, Spain, Mauritania, and the United Arab Emirates.
