Abstract:
The IELR periodically publishes an updated list of U.S. extradition and Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Treaties. The changes since the last issue (the October 2004 issue of the IELR) are in italics.
As an explanatory note, the update reflects that the U.S. government has concluded protocols and/or amendments to its extradition and mutual assistance in criminal matters treaties (MLATs) with many EU countries. These protocols and/or amendments arise out of the US-EU Extradition and MLAT signed on June 25, 2003.
