Abstract:
Tension between the United States and Ecuador over extradition has in part focused on the frustration of the Ecuadorian government’s inability to extradite Roberto and William Isaias from the U.S., who were sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison for embezzling millions from a bank they owned in Ecuador.[1]
