On December 1, 2006, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Gladys Kessler denied a U.S. government motion for a show cause order in Hamad Al Razak v. George W. Bush, while granting a U.S. motion to stay the proceedings pending resolution of an outstanding appeal.
