U.S. District Court Denies Motion to Revoke Detention Order for Defendant On German Extradition Request for Tax Evasion

  On May 13, 2014, U.S. Magistrate Judge Howard R. Lloyd denied the motion of Samir Azizi that he be granted bail and that his detention order be revoked.  The order shows that only “special circumstances” will justify bail in extradition cases.[1]
