Abstract:
On June 4, 2015, Judge John F. Walter of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Los Angeles) granted a motion for summary judgment to a museum and foundation controlled by the Spanish government and refused to order the return of an Impressionist painting to the relatives of a Jewish woman, who was forced to sell the work for $360 to a Nazi art appraiser in 1939.
