Abstract: 
On April 9, 2015, Judge Richard W. Roberts, U.S. District Court District of Columbia ordered North Korea to pay $15 million in compensatory damages and $300 million in punitive damages each to the immediate family of Kim Dong-shik, a South Korean pastor with permanent resident status in the United States.  Fifteen years ago he was abducted in northeastern China.  Yong-seok Kim, the brother of Kim Dong-shik, and Han Kim, the son of Kim Dong-shim.
