Abstract:
On September 21-22, 1999, the Committee on Banking and Financial Services, House of Representatives, held a hearing on Russian money laundering.
Rep. James A. Leach, R-Iowa and Committee Chair, in an opening statement, underscored that the Committee was holding its fifth hearing on international financial issues this year and the third on Russia and corruption over the last twelve months.
