   On April 5, 2013, Rear Admiral José Americo Bubo Na Tchuto, the former chief of Guinea Bissau’s navy, appeared in a New York City court on charges of being a drug kingpin involved in smuggling cocaine from Latin American traffickers into the United States.[1]
