Abstract:
On September 6, 2006, U.S. law enforcement officers arrested Peter Dicks at Kennedy International Airport in New York. Dicks, the chairman of U.K.-based online sports book Sportingbet, was arrested on a Louisiana State warrant after arriving on a flight from England. Dicks was detained at Kennedy International Airport based on a warrant issued by the Louisiana State Police gaming enforcement division after arriving on a flight from England. U.S. customs officials discovered the outstanding warrant during a routine border name check.
