U.S. Appellate Court Affirms Dismissal of Case Against Theft of Cultural Property

On April 13, 1998, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed the dismissal of the prosecution of two Texans and their lawyer on charges that they trafficked in stolen cultural property in their efforts to sell unique artwork taken from Germany after World War II.
