On November 17, 2009, the U.S. and Swiss governments released the Annex to the August 19, 2009, agreement resolving the dispute between the U.S. and UBS over the John Doe summons issued by the U.S. to obtain evidence of tax crimes by U.S. taxpayers with UBS accounts abroad.
