Abstract:
On March 7, 2001, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution, demanding that the Government of Liberia immediately stop its support for Sierra Leone’s Revolutionary United Front (RUF) and other armed rebel groups in the West African subregion as it imposed wide-ranging sanctions on Liberia.
