Abstract: 
                On April 17, 2014, the Registrar of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Herman von Hebel, received a declaration lodged by Ukraine accepting the ICC’s jurisdiction with respect to alleged crimes committed in its territory from November 21, 2013 to February 22, 2014.[1]   On April 25, 2014, the ICC announced that it has started a preliminary investigation into allegations of crimes against humanity in Ukraine.[2]
