Abstract:
On March 15, 2010, the United Kingdom’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) said that for the first time it is seeking the extradition of a suspect from abroad for criminal charges in Great Britain. According to the FSA the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court has issued at its request a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) for a 33-year-old Singaporean national who was arrested thereafter by French authorities in Mayotte, a French overseas territory in the Comoros Islands.
