Abstract:
On May 17, 2007, the Woolwich Crown Court held a hearing on the U.S. extradition request for radical cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri on terrorist-related charges. The U.S. government submitted a 2003 request for Abu Hamza’s extradition in connection with charges that he attempted to establish a terrorist training camp in Oregon, conspired to take hostages in Yemen, and facilitated terrorist training in Afghanistan.1
