On November 4 2008, the United Kingdom and Jamaica signed in Kingston, Jamaica a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), whereby the U.K. will help strengthen Jamaica’s capacity to rehabilitate and reintegrate local offenders and deported persons during a three year period.
