Abstract: 
During the May 11-12 meeting in Madrid of the Trevi Group to examine the removal of the European Economic Community internal borders, José Corcuera, Spain's Minister of the Interior, initiated the discussions of establishng a bureau to coordinate information and eventually action on public safety and to further examine the harmonization of national police measures.
