Abstract:
On November 9, 2016, the Legislative Yuan, the Parliament of Taiwan, passed an amendment to the Money Laundering Control Act (MLCA) designed to expand the scope of the legislation. The revisions to the act require additional types of businesses to report to the authorities suspicious behavior from their clients.
