Abstract: 
On November 10, 1987, the U.S. and Switzerland exchanged notes that significantly stabilize mutual cooperation in securities investigations in both countries.  The focus of the new provisions is the enforcement of administrative proceedings in respect of measures which may be taken against the perpetrator of a criminal offense.
