Abstract:
Recently, the Swiss Supreme Court rendered a noteworthy decision which serves as general orientation for the treatment of foreigners in criminal cases. In the case at issue an alien was convicted in two separate criminal proceedings to two separate prison sentences and, in each case, the defendant’s expulsion from Switzerland, for a term of five years following the imprisonment.
