Abstract:
At its 3034th meeting on October 7, 2010, the Council for Justice and Home Affair adopted EU wide rules on the rights to interpretation and translation in criminal proceedings.3  An agreement has been reached with the European Parliament in first reading. Member states will now have to transpose the directive into national law.
