Abstract: 
On June 1, 2003, the Liberian Government turned over the body of Sam Bockarie, a Sierra Leone warlord indicted for atrocities by the Special Tribunal for Sierra Leone (STSL) in response to demands from the Court. On June 4, 2003, the Tribunal issued an international warrant for indicted Liberian President Charles Taylor on charges of crimes against humanity arising out of his conduct in the 10 year civil war in Sierra Leone.
