Abstract:
On May 26, 2011, Serbia arrests Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general long wanted by the International Court for War Crimes in the Former Yugoslavia. (ICTY). On May 28, 2011, a Belgrade court ruled that Mladic can be extradited to the ICTY on war-crimes charge notwithstanding defense claims that he is too sick to face trial. On May 31, 2011, the Serbian war crimes court rejected his appeal, affirmed his extradition to the ICTY, and transferred him to the ICTY in the Hague.,,(more)...
