Abstract: 
A meeting of senior officials of Law Ministries from 31 Commonwealth countries was held at the Commonwealth Secretariat, London, from 21 January to 4 February 1986 to consider three draft schemes for enhanced judicial assistance between commonwealth countries: for the transfer of convicted offenders within the Commonwealth; for mutual assistance in criminal matters; and for protection of the cultural heritage within the Commonwealth.
