Abstract:
Bills to make money laundering a crime continue to make their slow way through Congress.  On October 29, 1985, the Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings on several Senate bills dealing with money laundering.  The Senate money laundering bills have sparked great interest in the banking community and among attorneys but may not be reported out of committee any time soon.
