On November 25, 1997, the media reported a conviction obtained by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in a transnational securities fraud case. Alan Benlolo, a Canadian businessman living in Florida, has pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud and conspiracy.
