Abstract: 
On May 10, 1989, the Senate rejected by a vote of 57 to 40 Senate Joint Resolution 100 disapproving the certification by the President under the Foreign Assistance Act with respect to the Bahamas that the Bahamas is adequately cooperating with international efforts against narcotics trafficking.
