Abstract:
A reprint of the hearing on "The Role and Activities of the National Drug Enforcement Policy Board," held before the Committee on Foreign Affairs, House of Representatives, 99th Cong., Second Session provides a useful review of the long-term planning of the Administration. Congressman Benjamin J. Gilman (R.-NY) criticized Stephen S. Trott, Associate Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice, for the Administration's "Band-aid approach" and stated that he heard too infrequently of "any broad policy and broad program and broad strategy."
