Abstract: 
Over the years, the international legal community has been successful in adopting a considerable number of instruments addressing specific aspects of international terrorism. These instruments can be grouped into four categories. Firstly, those dealing with civil aviation (Convention on Offences Committed on Board Aircraft;Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft; Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Civil Aviation).
