OAS Agrees to Test Multilateral Evaluation Mechanism

At a meeting of the Organization of American States from August 31 to September 2, 1999 in Ottawa, officials of the OAS approved the testing phase of the creation of a Mechanism for Multilateral Evaluation (MEM) on counterdrug policy.
