Abstract: 
On September 17, 1986, the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the United States Senate held hearings on the growing phenomenon of Nigerian criminal activity in the United States.  Testimony was presented by numerous witnesses including officials from the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Postal Inspection Service, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.
