Abstract:
Increasing controversy is occurring between Britain and Nigeria over efforts by the British to obtain assistance from Nigeria with respect to proceedings pending in England over assets allegedly looted by Nigerian politicians. In the case involving the former Nigerian governor of the state of Delta, James Ibori, the two governments are increasingly venting their frustrations in the media.
