Abstract:

On August 24, 2016, Jacob “Kobi” Alexander, an Israeli national, pleaded guilty to one count of securities fraud for his role in a stock options backdating scheme involving Comverse Technologies Inc. (Comverse). After a bail hearing, the court ordered him detained. On August 22, 2016, Namibia ordered him extradited, after ten years of fugitivity, mostly in Namibia.
