Abstract:
The Mexican Federal Judicial Police will open its first U.S. office in San Antonio in September as part of a joint U.S.-Mexican effort to combat drug trafficking. The decision to open a U.S. office continues the active posture taken internationally by Mexico in combatting illicit narcotics trafficking. Earlier this year, it started an office in Costa Rica that will also work on criminal and drug cooperation in Central America.
