Abstract: 
In the wake of the commencement of the North America Free Trade Agreement, which went into effect on January 1, 1994 and contains unprecedented harsh intellectual property rights enforcement obligations, the Office of the Attorney General of Mexico has announced its continued efforts to enforce these laws and particularly to confiscate products sold illegally and in violation of intellectual property law.
